Concurrent Enrollment and Online Courses Concurrent Enrollment Concurrent enrollment (enrolling in two colleges during the same term) is allowed for undergraduate Texas Wesleyan students. There are, however, some restrictions. The student must be enrolled in at least 6 hours on the Texas Wesleyan campus (not including an online class). Also, a student may not receive an International Student Scholarship unless the student is enrolled full-time at Texas Wesleyan. To obtain permission for concurrent enrollment, students must fill out two forms before registering at another school. They are necessary for the tracking of your satisfactory academic progress, the transferability of these courses back to Texas Wesleyan University, and your compliance with immigration regulations. Application for concurrent enrollment should be made by completing the attached form well in advance of registration. In order to apply for concurrent enrollment, please download and complete the two following forms, and then submit them to the Office of International Programs (Dan Waggoner Annex room 101). Once the forms are processed through the office, you will receive a confirmation letter to take to the other university upon registration. 1. Request for Enrollment at Another University form from the Office of Student Records. Fill this out and have appropriate advisors sign it. Once complete, please bring (along with the Request for Concurrent Enrollment Form) to the Office of International Programs. 2. Request for Concurrent Enrollment form for the International Programs office. Fill out the top portion and initial the three statements. This form must be turned in before the Office of International Programs can turn in your request to the Registrar's Office.. Online Courses Students are allowed to enroll in only one online class a semester. |
