Texas Wesleyan University observes its annual International Week in conjunction with International Education Week worldwide. The aim of International Education Week is to raise awareness of the importance of education and understanding among the nations of the world.  This week celebrates the cultures around the world and hopes to create an appreciation for international diversity.  At Texas Wesleyan University, the entire campus participates in activities that include academic programs with international focus, international films, booths which promote cultural understanding, professional entertainment from an international group, and a sports event.  The highlight of the week is the International Fair, which is prepared by the international students and gives the university and local community a chance to taste food from different countries, see exhibits of different cultures, and hear and dance to international music.  This week is especially intended to enrich and broaden the lives of the students, faculty and staff.
