We are always on the lookout for new and innovative writers and photographers. We meet every Thursday at 12:15pm in Stella Lobby. You must fill out and submit the necessary paperwork in order to have an article published and get paid. Attend a meeting or contact the managing editor at twurambler@yahoo.com for more direction. We’d love to have you!
What kind of article can I write?
- News - News articles about timely events or features on people or places that are newsworthy.
- Opinions - Opinion articles discussing everything from campus food to who is running for president of the United States. All you really need is an opinion with some facts to back it up.
- College Life - Articles on this page deal with people, events or subjects that are of interest to the Wesleyan community. This might be a story about a college issue, a profile of the newest faculty member, a feature about a student group or a poll about how students feel about a hot topic.
- Sports – Seasonal sports previews and articles covering games, players, coaches and all things Wesleyan sports. We also accept opinions about the professional sports world or features on sporting events that are of interest to the Wesleyan audience.
- Entertainment - Previews, music and movie reviews, as well as features on the various fine art departments at Wesleyan. You can write about everything and anything that entertains.
What kind of photos can I take?
