During the advising period, you will be meeting with a faculty advisor who will assist you in planning your next semester spring schedule. Your advisor will help you use the online course schedule posted on RamLink.
Assuming we have received all official transcripts prior to the advising/registration period, online degree audit should display all transfer credit that has been awarded based on equivalent coursework at Texas Wesleyan University. Please review your degree audit and ask your faculty advisor if you have any questions or contact the Registrar's Office.
If you have a definite interest area or major in mind, check with your advisor to see if that major has any special requirements. Other majors have prerequisites that need to be taken on a specific schedule to maintain appropriate progress toward graduation.
A typical semester workload at Texas Wesleyan University is 15-16 credits per semester. Generally, this is five three-hour courses plus a one-credit course such as a KIN activity class or an applied music course. Please keep in mind that in order to graduate within four years, you will need to take 16 credits for at least four semesters. You may take up to 18 credits and remain within the block tuition rate (additional hours will be charged $493/hour).
Please be sure to notify the Registrar’s Office when you are nearing graduation. You may download the Application for Graduation from the Registrar’s web site and submit it to that office. We recommend that you do so prior to the beginning of your senior year or upon completion of 90 hours. This will allow us to review your degree progress and avoid any complications.
