During the 2005-06 season, Dinko garnered many victories.  At the 2006 Collegiate Nationals he placed second in Men's Doubles with teammate Ludovic Gombos and made a quarterfinal appearance in Men’s Singles.  He also won Under 2300 Singles at the Missouri Winter Games and took home the title at the 2006 DFW Spring Open 2-man team event. 

Dinko was a member of the Ram team that advanced to the Elite Division quarterfinals at the 2005 North American Team Championships.

This season Dinko won Under 3800 Doubles at the Texas Wesleyan October Open, and Open Doubles at the Austin Fall Open with teammate Carlos Chiu.  He also placed second in Open Singles at the Austin Fall Open, and aslo placed second in Under 3800 Doubles at the Texas Wesleyan September Open.

Dinko is a senior majoring in psychology.

Dinko guided Texas Wesleyan to a third place finish at the 2004 North American Open Team Championships and NCTTA Collegiate titles in 2004 and 2005.  In 2005 he placed place second in Collegiate Men’s Singles.

One of the youngest players ever to participate in Croatia’s First Division, Dinko played on the Under-14 Croatian Cadet National Team (1995-1998) and the Under-18 Junior National Team (1999-2001).  In 1998 he ranked #13 in the world U-16, and placed fifth in doubles in the Youth Olympic Games in Moscow.
