The 53rd Annual Spring Musical
April 19-22
Theatre Wesleyan continues its long history of musical production with the 53rd Annual Spring Musical The Fantasticks at 7:30 p.m. April 19-21 and at 2 p.m. April 22. This beloved musical love story features music by Harvey Schmidt with book and lyrics by Tom Jones. The musical tells the story of a young boy and girl who fall madly in love in spite of their meddling fathers. The Fantasticks, featuring Michael Kreitzinger, Whitney Park and Jonathan Phillips (pictured below), is the quintessential celebration of love, in all its gorgeous simplicity and heartbreaking complexities, and features such classic tunes as "Try To Remember," "Much More," and "I Can See It."

Also included in the cast are Robert Carroll and Ben Phillips as the meddling fathers, Dillon Maroney as the old actor, Chase Burnett as his sidekick, and Cari Watson as The Mute. The Fantasticks is directed by Brynn Bristol with musical direction by John Hanby and choreography by Elise Lavallee. The design team includes scenery by Brynn Bristol and Max Marquez, lighting by Bryan Stevenson, costumes by Erica Heebner, graphics by Michael Kreitzinger, technical direction by Eric Briggs and properties by Johnny Gonzales. Stage manager is A’nie Kirchner.

Tickets to the Saturday performance are available only through the Texas Wesleyan Alumni Office (817-531-4404). Group rates are available for groups of 10 or more.
