Who's Who in Theatre Wesleyan

Brynn Bristol
Costume Designer and Instructor of Theatre

Brynn has been the Costume Shop Manager, Costume Designer and theatre instructor at Texas Wesleyan University for four years.    Prior to joining Wesleyan's faculty, Brynn worked for a year as a free lance theatre artist, directing, designing and scene painting for various theatres in the Metroplex.  From 1986 to 1995 Brynn was the Assistant Managing Director at Fort Worth Theatre and Managing Director of the Fort Worth Theatre from 1995 - 1999.    At FWT she was a resident Director, Set Designer and Scenic Artist, Development Director and actress.   In addition to her work at Fort Worth Theatre she has worked at Casa Manana, Stage West, Jubilee Theatre, Backdoor Theatre, Gaslight Dinner Theatres and Granbury Opera House as a director, set & costume designer, artist  and actress.
 
Brynn has also taught Into to Theatre, Stagecraft, Scene Painting, Set & Costume Design, Tech I & II and Sceneography at Midwestern State University, Tarrant County College and Texas Woman's University.   She has conducted several workshops for various colleges and theatrical organizations.
 

Brynn received her B.A. in Theatre from North Texas State University and her M. A in Theatre  from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor.
